We, Kiu and Henry, have been with Sapphire TCM since 2014 and have been recommending the clinic to all relatives and friends who have been suffering from any recurring health-related issues.

Migraine
My history of migraine starts at the age of 7. Now I am 50. I get migraines with aura. A very vital migraine.
I was in bed at least 2 days each week with vomiting and dizziness.
I also suffer from a scapula-humeral with or without periarthritis on both shoulders.
The pain in my right shoulder was very strong and I couldn’t sleep.
A friend of mine took me to Dr Jack and Piage, and I started acupuncture and acupressure treatment.
It was a miracle!
I hardly have any migraine attack now , life is so enjoyable without lying down 2 days a week in the past 40 years .
I continue the treatment once a month now, Jack and Paige are excellent professionals.

Being a regular client of Paige and Dr. Jack with sometimes back problems, any other muscular tensions, diverticulitis or other discomfort, Dr.Jack always had the right answer for it. we went to Dr Jack & Paige acupuncture clinic since we moved to Stratford from London in 2016. we were asking around where is the best acupuncture clinic, they were recommended by our neighbour, After we went to their clinic, I realised how much silly money & how much time I had been wasted in London , an angel has brought us here , found them & they brought us a girl ! there is no words to describe how appreciate we are to them!
Since 2014 , I had been treated in a well-known acupuncture clinic for fertility in London , as I always believe you pay what you get, I paid £180 for a session at that time, I thought they must be unique to charge that much , I was desperate, so I just went for their name not thinking anything else.
The fact proved me so wrong, after comparing with Dr Jack’s professional treatment, I must say he provided an even better service, with charging ONLY £30 per session, I felt like a fool before!
I was absolutely stunned for the initial consultation, they were asking so much details about my health , my diet, my life style, my cycle, my symptoms , & checked my tongue color & pulse, it is covered almost everything about me, at the end , the conclusion is so logical , it was more comprehensive than I got in London, again they were not charging any money, comparing I paid £200 initial consultation in London !
During the treatment I can tell how confidents he is when he put the needles in me, & spot on the points , Paige explained what those needles for, how they can help me, which I had never been told in the past 2 years! & she is so knowledgeable & kind , it made me calm immediately. I had also been given the light treatment & electric acupuncture, again not charge extra.
I had about 6 months of treatment with them, acupuncture & herbs weekly, finally I delivered a baby girl last Christmas. Without their help, my life won’t be complete, I recommend everyone around me now to see them, as Dr Jack can treat so many problems, he also got rid of my husband’s reflux problem & long term back pain.

Foot & Leg Pain etc.
I have been treated for a variety of disorders through the past five years. Also as one gets older different problems seem to arise more frequently. Dr. Jack has always been able to help and rectify.
As an example I mentioned to my NHS doctor at the surgery about a dull ache down my leg. Had a feeling this was dismissed as me looking for something. I then mentioned it to Dr. Jack, he had a good feel around and after a few sessions I was back to normal.

Long Term Migraine
I went to see Dr Jack and Paige because I was suffering from severe headaches at least 4 times a week. They were extremely painful and hugely disrupted my life. During my consultation – Dr Jack immediately knew what the problem was by checking my back and told me exactly what was causing my headaches. Paige was very welcoming and straight away put me at ease as I was nervous for my first appointment. Being involved in Feng Shui, Chinese Astrology and the philosophy of the Yi Jing, together with other modalities of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has given me the opportunity of knowing Paige for over ten years and Dr Jack for more than a year as professional colleagues.

Bronchiectasis/ Respiratory system

Chronic Lower Back Pain
I started acupuncture and acupressure treatments with Jack and Paige after a long search. I had tried everything under the sun; physiotherapy, sport massages, chiropractors, aroma massage therapy….. But Jack has a very gentle and holistic approach. He knew exactly what was causing my lower back pain and he knew where the problematic ligament damage was. Rheumatoid Arthritis
One morning I woke up and felt I could hardly move. Things got better in the day. I researched my problem and the only thing that resembled what I felt was rheumatoid arthritis, so I went to see my GP. He gave me a course of anti inflammatories and 6 week later things had not improved so …… I went to see Jack (with full knowledge and backing of my GP). Fertility
I initially decided to try Chinese acupuncture to help with fertility issues. I had unfortunately had a failed round of IVF which had also in turn affected my M.S. Dr Jack firstly levelled out my relapse with my M.S. I then decided to try a more gentle fertility treatment combined with acupuncture and have managed to get pregnant, have a beautiful baby and have also stayed relapse free. It is the best I have felt for years! Paige and Jack are excellent in every way. Five stars. Highly recommended.

Diverticular Disease，Back Pain, Sciatica Nerve Trapped
This testimonial is in reference to the acupuncture treatment I received from Dr. Jack the Chinese Acupuncture & Herb Specialist at Sapphire TCM Stratford upon Avon
Three years after being diagnosed with diverticular disease and diverticulitis, I began to suffer increasingly frequent and more debilitating bouts of diarrhea. During the worst periods, I was unable to lead a “normal” life. I became afraid to drive long distances, or even leave the house without planning for a bout of diverticulitis, planning where and how I could find a toilet within 20 minutes of having a temperature, with temperature spells occurring about every other day.
The NHS answer was to prescribe Imodium eight capsules a day and I was told to adjust my life style to account for the attacks. It was not good enough, and I began looking for alternatives. I had never tried acupuncture and was simultaneously curious, optimistic and skeptical. I first tried a course of traditional acupuncture in 2012 on a 14 day P&O cruise on board the MS Azura and I found it really helped.
On returning I contacted Sapphire TCM in Stratford, Paige spoke with me at length, with Dr Jack patiently listening to and answering my many questions. At my first appointment, I was reassured and calmed by their presence. During the treatment there is a sense of tranquility, calmness and high personal care, I have been receiving regular acupuncture & herb treatments since.
My life is my own again now, no longer controlled by unseen forces. I am thrilled with the results of the acupuncture and herb treatments and cannot recommend Sapphire TCM highly enough.

Jack has also treated me for back pain and a trapped sciatic nerve with acupuncture and acupressure massage therapy again the results have been incredible.
Four years ago I was very sceptical about “Alternative Medicines and Treatments but not anymore, the traditional Chinese way and Sapphire TCM have certainly changed my views.

Foot Problems
Through the years I have been treated by several Chinese Doctors, as well in Germany as here in the UK.
This is, however, the first time a Chinese Doctor has found the root of my physical problems.
I began with Dr Jack almost two years ago, because of a bad foot, which caused me to stop short of completing the Camino Franchise in Spain.
Not only was the problem with my foot corrected, but also fungi on my nails, very hard skin under my heel, and BXO were alleviated. And more importantly my general well-being was improved.
I have seen western Doctors about my foot, nails, and BXO and their treatment could only help for a very short period of time, whereas my Chinese Doctor got to the root of the problem.
I know it is not cheap with Chinese Medicine comparing with Free NHS service, but one cannot put a price on feeling good.

Frozen Shoulder, Knee , Back Pain
Since my initial visit to Dr Jack, I have attended his surgery following the diagnosis of arthritis in my knee and, on a separate occasion for a frozen shoulder. Both lots of treatment were tailored to my needs at the time and entirely successful. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Dr Jack and do so often. When my husband was suffering with painful knee joints a few years ago I suggested he visit Dr Jack. Once again the treatment was a total success. I cannot recommend the treatment highly enough.
Finally, please feel assured that if there is a problem that this team cannot help with their high level of honesty and integrity would mean they would not suggest they can help.

Rash / Skin Condition
I first visited the practice with a debilitating, painful and suppurating rash on my face and neck. I had visited my GP on several occasions and been given four courses of antibiotics. As a result of this my general health was well below parr.
Dr Jack undertook a thorough investigation whilst taking a detailed history.
I was given special herbal teas to drink twice a day with weekly appointments for acupuncture, acupressure massage and heat treatment. After a few weeks my health improved dramatically and the rash disappeared.
The service was excellent. Paige and Dr Jack are extremely professional and courteous. As soon as necessary Dr Jack reduced the frequency of the treatments to fortnightly.

Dysmenorrhea
I have dealt with this condition for over 25 years until a friend recommended that I go and see Jack and Paige, and I haven’t looked back since I started my herbal treatments 9 months ago. I always feel confident about my weekly visits. Headaches & Chronic Fatigue
I came to Doctor Jack with severe headaches and chronic fatigue.
The consultation is excellent, Dr. Jack really takes his time to talk to the patient and get the whole picture. Paige is a great help, translating along and making the patient feel very welcome and comfortable.
The rooms are very clean and inviting, thus making it possible to relax for the treatment. The acupuncture is very professionally done, Dr. Jacks long experience is definitely noticeable and I usually fall asleep very soon after all the needles are in place.
The massages are also fantastic, whether it is a full body massage or a foot massage, you will definitely walk out all relaxed and your muscles will be feeling like jelly. There is not really a need to explain anything to Dr. Jack, as his sense of touch is excellent and he will easily find the problematic muscle groups or joints.
Dr. Jacks treatment really helped me, I feel much fitter now, I don’t fall asleep any more during the day and I now very much enjoy exercise and challenging myself.
The headache has also improved a lot and I find Dr. Jacks tips very helpful to stretch during the day.

Tension Headache/ Neck Problems
I initially visited Jack and Paige a few years ago when I was suffering with tension headaches and also neck problems.
The acupuncture and acupressure treatment I received was very relaxing and rapidly alleviated the discomfort I had been having for weeks.

Menopause
I first began to visit the clinic in 2009 as I was going through the menopause and one of the horrifying symptoms was incontinence. I had been advised by a Consultant that a ‘hammock’ could be fitted to lessen the symptoms. I was loathe to take this path and it was at this point I discovered the Sapphire Clinic. Over a period of 6-9 months the symptoms decreased until I no longer had any concerns about striding out or sneezing. I have been attending the clinic ever since for either maintenance, boosting my immune system and/or treatment for specific ailments, e.g. colds, better sleeping patterns. I could not recommend them more highly. And as a team they are well-informed in traditional Chinese medicine together with a deep knowledge of herbs to support the treatment.

Dry Eye Syndrome
Where do I start ?
I had suffered with dry , sore, itchy eyes for 18+ months, I visited optician, ok, just reading glasses, I was given a gel to apply every morning, very greasy. They told me its an age thing have to live with it, I am in my 60s.
So used gel, it did help bit, bought eye drops used all day & night, it still drives me mad , as its always sore. It has affected my life, I have to think What next ?
20 years ago, my wife visited a Chinese Dr in town square, now called Bell Court, with skin problems, they gave her the herbs to drink, taste awful, but after 2 months, skin was clear. I thought they may help with my dry eye syndrome, so I found Paige & Dr Jack relocated in play house in Rother street, Paige explained everything, I was offered acupuncture& tailor-made herbs by Dr Jack, after a month of weekly visit, 4 sessions of treatment & twice daily herbs, I don’t feel the discomfort any more, so they stretch the treatment to let me come every other week for 2 months, then once a month acupuncture only, the treatment is not only for my eye, it also works on my immune system.
Result good or bad, its AMAZING ! my eyes are clear, no itching, soreness, dryness , I work outside a lot, in one point before visiting them, I almost spent nearly £200 on an eye lid wash treatment. I feel so relieved and eyes feel Great now !

At present, I lifted something heavy at work, lower back trouble, tried chiropractor 6 sessions,normally works, no joy this time, massive pain! So again they sorted me out, I was able to sleep after the first session, all going really well.
